Hi.
Do you want to have stops in between? Or travel the fastest or cheapest way?
And I hope you bought your tickets here at railcc to support our project!? :)

Example of a journey Nice to Amsterdam without extra fees (except the inexpensive French night train):

Nice Ville dep: 1628 | Regional train - FREE
Marseille-St-Charles arr: 1859

Marseille-St-Charles dep: 1914 | Regional train - FREE
Nîmes arr: 2040

Nîmes dep: 2322 | Night train. LUNEA - prices and booking the same like this train: https://rail.cc/en/night-train/cerbere-luxembourg-icn-4350/156
Metz Ville arr: 0924

Metz Ville dep: 0930 | IC train - FREE
Namur arr: 1219

Namur dep: 1233 | IC train - FREE
Liège-Guillemins arr: 1313

Liège-Guillemins dep: 1322 | IC train - FREE
Maastricht arr: 1351

Maastricht dep: 1356 | IC train - FREE
Amsterdam Centraal arr: 1622

Easy to find.
Simply use a schedule planer: https://rail.cc/en/search-interrail-route
Compare it to the extra fees: https://rail.cc/en/interrail-train-reservation

6 minutes to change trains in Metz is rather optimistic, coming from the Lunéa night train... But anyway, there would be later options as well in case you missed the train.

The night train (not daily, only on weekends in summer) is not a solution for every day. It was a fast idea.
Night train continues till Luxembourg. Of course faster connections including TGVs etc... :)

Oh yes...well, then the option with a change in Metz is best if the train is on time, otherwise you can continue to Luxembourg and then go to Amsterdam (either via Bruxelles or via Liège).

Anyway, Ridhick, what kind of ticket did you get? InterRail pass or...? And, as Peter already said, it would be important to know whether you only want to visit these places or make one or two stops in between... :)
