Hi guys!

So, I'm trying to reserve a seat from Paris Montparnasse to Bordeaux St Jean. I only want to book a one way seat but I'm forced to select an inbound date or I can go no further. I select an inbound date and click 'next'. There then is an option to select 'No return ticket', I select it and click 'next' but the inbound reservation appears anyway. If I click 'add to cart' nothing is added to my cart. I have tried this several times and have been unable to reserve anything.

I'm using Google Chrome as my browser, if this has any effect on the website.

Regards,
Seán

Hi Seán.

Just tried it on Chrome and had no problems. :?:
Maybe clear your cache and try it again?!

Used the following link: [ux]https://rail.shop/acprail/reservation[/ux]

From: Paris Montparnasse
To: BORDEAUX ST JEAN

Selected the Outbound date - the Inbound date I left empty.

Next step - only direct trains are available for booking. Reservation in the card and checked out.

The reservation for Eurail passholders is also vaild for Interrail travelers.

Peter :)

HI Peter,

Thanks for the quick reply.

When I leave the Inbound Date fields empty I get the following error message on the next page ERROR: System couldn't load fares for the requested route. Please try searching again. I don't get that message if the Inbound Date fields are populated.

Not sure what the problem is :(

Regards,
Seán

This means that no train tickets are available.
Be sure to fill in the exact names of the stations I gave you.
What date and time you are looking for a reservation?
It has nothing to do with the Inbound date.
Peter :)

Sorry,

I just realised what I have been doing wrong. I hadn't filled in the time I wanted, just the date.

Really sorry for wasting your time! :(

I'm afraid I've got the exact same problem - no matter which connection I fill in, I always get the error stated above. Also, it doesn't seem to know Sofia as a station?
(Example connections I tested and that wouldn't work: Budapest-Brasov, Bukarest-Sofia, Sofia-Belgrade, Barcelona-Madrid, Hendaye-Paris)
I hope it's okay to use this thread by the way, I just didn't want to start an entirely new topic when there already was a perfectly fine one on the same problem. :)

Hi.
No problem to ask here. :)
The error simply means that there is no online reservation possible.
To explain: NOT all reservations are possible to do online. For example these in Eastern Europe. You have to buy them at a station. The railcc partner link [ux]https://rail.shop/acprail/reservation[/ux] already offers a lot of possibilities. But rail reservations are sometimes hard to get. :)
