Hi! We're taking the train from Prague to Warsaw the 30th leaving 10.17 arriving 18:30, Euro City 111.
Do you need to reserve tickets for this train, if so do you know how much it costs?

Hi!
We now have many rail connections throughout Europe on the railcc website - including timings and reservation info.
The train is here (2nd) :arr: https://rail.cc/en/train/prague-to-warsaw
Latest info I have from other travellers is that you need a reservation when travelling within or to/from Poland. So I recommend to get a reservation to be sure.
Maybe you could directly ask in Praha and Warszawa and then post it here to have confirmation - thank you. :)

yes, at least for the sector in Pl anyone needs to reserve seat in IC/EC etc trains. The cost for INTernational is usually around 4 eur/payable in the local money (in PL it is 16 PLN). One does not need to ask this anytime for any train-I suppose it wont break your bank if it turns out to be like 4,50 or so.
ONLY for trips that are fully domestic and in some east-europe countries it will be cheaper-if you need it.
And no fears that seem to perpetuate every IR-railer posting here: no, trains are not always full 2 month advance, as has also been told so many times; do it on arrival in that city-simple spend the odd 5 mins longer in the station to get it organised.
