hello to everyone,
i will be in Germany in August. My travel days within Germany will be approximately 6 and I plan to buy the (youth) Germany pass for 6 days of travel. First, i would like to be sure that i can spend these days whenever i want. They don't have to be continuous, right? Second, is it obligatory to write down on the ticket the days of travel? If yes, does this have to be before my first use of the pass? I ask because i am not sure yet which days exactly i want to use the pass. Also, i would like to have the freedom of choice till after the first use/day of the pass for the rest of the travel days. An example of what i mean is the following. Lets say i want to use the first day of travel on August 13th. Will i be able to write down the previous day only this date? Then, lets say i decide on August 26th to use the second and third day of travel on 27th and 28th. Will i be able to write down on the ticket only these two days and decide for the rest three on a later day in August?
Last but not least, i would like some help regarding the Schönes-Wochenende-Ticket from Deutche Bahn, if anyone has used it before. Do i have to buy the ticket well in advance? Also, lets say i plan to use it one Saturday to go from Stuttgart to Dresden. Does it have to be a direct journey or is it possible to use it first on a train from Stuttgart to lets say Weimar and then after a few hours from Weimar to Dresden?

Hi.
InterRail ONE Country Pass Germany:

You can use your 6 travel days whenever you want within the one month your pass is valid.
Thes do not have to be in a row.
Simply fill travel days in your ticket, whenever you need them. Just before entering a train.
You do not have to fill them in at the beginning. So you are always flexible and free.

You can use as much trains as you want on the day the ticket is valid. But it is only valid on Regional trains.
You can buy it at ticket machines in stations (English version available at the machines). Don\'t buy it at ticket windows as it is more expensive.
You can buy it as well online and print it out.
Use as much Regional trains as you want on such a travel day. First Stuttgart-Weimar, then to Dresden.

If you are travelling alone, have a look as well on normal standard tickets to special fares. As you will be much faster.
