Hi guys,

I need to get from Paris to Mont-De-Marsan and I know you need to go via Bordeaux. I won't be using my Inter-railing ticket for this part of the trip as I'm staying in Mont-De-Marsan for a week or more.

Can I book this ticket to railcc and what is the cheapest option for someone my age, 24?

Regards,
Seán

Hi.
Try to get a special offer at the French SNCF website. You can order online and print it out at a station (or pick it up) in France: www.voyages-sncf.fr

yes-in principle, but this site has its quirks;
1.it will NOT give good low prices if there is a change to a TER train-which there will be. Check times first-and book only till Bordeaux or maybe closer by, if there is a conveneint through TGV
2.do not say you are brit-as it will reroute you to their inflated and money eating site from raileur*pe. try to do the FR, or say you are spanish.
3.you did not give full details, so i will not write a full how to. AGE may lead to lower fares-and booking can only be done from 3 month before untill [for low PREM] 7 days before-after that it is the normal age-bound reduction only.
also check ter-sncf.com for aquitaine to check if there are any specials or summer offers.
