Everywhere i look it says that the train from Vienna to Bratislava leaves from Vienna Sudbahnhof, but i also read that this station was demolished to make way for the new Hauptbahnhof to be completed next year...

Where does this train leave from now?

Many thanks,
Dan

OBB website says that it's still Sudbahnhof so probably nothing has changed.

Hi Dan!

Trains depart at Wien Südbahnhof (Ostbahn) :arr: https://rail.cc/en/vienna/vienna-suedbahnhof-east-site-railway-station/l89

The terminal is directly linked with bus 69A and a short walk from the terminus of tram D. You can also go there by S-Bahn (from Meidling, Mitte, Praterstern,...), leave at Wien Südbahnhof (S-Bahn), then it is a short walk down Arsenalstraße.

SOME trains still use this part of the old and certainly now demolished Sud=south Bhf, as it was a former station apart and not in the build-up area. take some extra time as you have to walk around all the works.
do not use a ''passday'' for only this trip-buses run ev. 30 mins and cost just 5-6 eur/single.
