Hello. There are some internationale sneltrein/train rapide international trains I found in France. On route planner site it is written that they require a compulsory reservation.

For example : Marseille St.Charles dep 0609
Montpellier Saint Roch arr 0740
The train is called as 4752.

So, is there a reservation required and if yes, how much does it cost?

it's TEOZ, day train
here you have information about supplements: https://rail.cc/en-type-country/toz/sncf-teoz/46

and if you want to save money you can take 2 TER trains(regional, without supplements) at 6:24 to Nimes and there at 7:59 to Montpellier. Go half of hour more but it's for free.
