Hello. Is there any chance to get to Nice from Venice if I want to leave Venice in the evening?
I do not understand, some days ago I found a trip
Venezia Santa Lucia dep 18 20
Milano Centrale arr 20 55
Milano Centrale dep 21 10
Ventimiglia arr 01 07
Ventimiglia dep 04 47
Nice Ville 05 56.
But now I can't find this route anymore. So, does there still a train like this exist?

Hi.
With this connection you have a stop of more of 3 hours in Ventimiglia in the middle of the night.
Maybe it is better to travel during the day and have a stop in between in a cheap hostel!?
As there are nod direct night trains on this route.
The connections should still be available - but yesterday there was the change in the European train schedules and maybe not all data has been updated to the systems. :|

I planned and calculated what would be better for my trip, and decided that it will be better to wait those 3 hours, but as a result i will be in Nice in early morning. So You think that no changes should be done in those schedules and exactly this route will still be the same?

Hi!
Yes, this route still runs with the same timings. Remember that the Venezia - Milano leg is by ES City, 10€ compulsory reservation. Milano - Ventimiglia is by IC, 3€ recommended reservation.
I dont know if they lock the station in Ventimiglia for the few hours overnight when no train is running - but it is possible that you wont be allowed to stay at the station.

You mean every single trip Venezia - Milano Centrale needs 10Euro reservation?
For example, Intercity train leaves at 17 58, Eurocity at 17 20. Do they both require a 10Euro reservation?

Intercity with a four digit train number = Eurostar City (ES City) = Frecciabianca = 10€ compulsory reservation
EuroCity with a destination in Switzerland (Italy - Switzerland) = 10€ compulsory reservation for travel in Italy or Italy - Switzerland

Wow. So isn't there any route to get there without 10Eur reservations? I would like to leave Venezia on 20th June and be in Nice in the morning of 21st June.

Well you can use regional trains - which will take much longer.
Use the schedule planner :arr: https://rail.cc/en/search-interrail-route but wait for some days as the timings for Italy probably are not included yet.

THIS routeplanner was very, very late with adding the local/non Freccia trains.
Better use trenitalia.com (it links into somehting else-the official state) and check it there.
The Italians are notoriously late, always, with adding their times to the general [ux]https://rail.shop/bahn[/ux] , on whcih railcc bases itself.
The stazione in Venti is NOT closed nighttime, but all the waiting rooms and places to sit are. many very loud goodstrains pass. There will be many, many people seeking entry into FR. depends on you if you like that or not. (yes-I made the mistake once of doing that-a nighttrain from before was cancelled and I did not check again). the 1st train into FR is overfull with workers to Monaco.
