Hi!

I am travelling from Budapest to Novi Sad by train for Exit festival on the 7th of July, the day when the festival officially begins. There is a train at 10.05am that should arrive in Novi Sad around 16.10.
Is there anyone who has travelled this way before who could help me? I was just wondering if there was a chance that the train could be full because of the festival and I wouldn't be able to get it. That would definitely spoil my plans! Maybe a stupid question but I'm a bit of a worrier! :) I'd appreciate any help, thanks!

Since Exit Festival will be on those dates i assume the train will be full but i am also pretty sure that you can get on board even standing and since it's a day train and the route is short won't be a problem.
Here is my experience from Sziget Festival

The train was more than full but we all got standing tickets and the route was also short.

See it as a pre-festival experience and a chance to meet people going to the festival 8) :D

:D I had a similar experience on the Wien - Budapest train before Sziget festival...

You might get a reservation as well...question is (if the train is quite packed) if you will be able to get to your place...

Wow that train sure looks full! I don't mind it being overcrowded or having to stand just so long as I'm actually on the train! Will probably stick with my plan then. Thanks both of you for your help!
