Hello.

I'm new in this forum so i'm sorry if this topic is repeated.

I'm a portuguese citizen and i want to go to switzerland to catch a plain back to portugal. UE citizens need to take with himself a passport?

Is there any problem to visit switzerland without a passport?

Thank you very much

Hi.
Switzerland is not in the European Union, but it belongs to the Schengen countries. Which means you can travel there by only your European ID card. No passport needed as Portuguese (=Schengen country) traveller.
