My girlfriend and I want to go for Interrail that year for the first time.So we want to travel from Halle/Saale to Praha-Vienna-Beograd-Istanbul-Athens-Italy and back to Germany. To have a lot of time in the cities we chose to sleep in the night trains (also because of the cheap price).
But now I wan to know where I could get informations about the categories (single,Double,Tourist,4/6 bed) the sleeping train has and in which we could get a reservation with a 2nd class (Interrail) Ticket.
Thanks for your help!

Usually the 6-bed sleepers are okay - the others (single, double, ...) to expensive.
Average price is a supplement of 10 EUR per bed in a 6er sleeper.
And normally it works with interrail, BUT: as you can read in the NEWS section on the website, the ticket changes on the 1th of April 2007 ... so I will check out the new prices when I get all the information. :)

10 EUR for one bed in six - bed compartement? :o U're sure?!
I went last year in autumn through the czech republic and payed for a bed in a double about 7 EUR (and thats already 1st calss)
So I thought the sleeping compartements in eastern/ south eastern europe aren't as expensive?! :(

you are right ...
it always depends on the country and of course on the train ...
in germany you have for example different kind of trains from different companies... 10 EUR is average, sure that in eastern europe it is cheaper. :)
