Hi!
I apologize for this rather silly question but I need to be sure.
InterRail ONE COUNTRY pass (FRANCE) entitles me to travel freely around France, is it? not to have a discount?
Thanks and I can't wait to buy my ticket and start my trip!

Hi Krikri.
France is not the best country for Interrailers as you have to pay extra reservation fees for some trains like for example the TGV trains. And especially this one has limited seats for rail pass travellers. :|
If you only want to travel inside France, you might check special offers of the national French railway company SNCF.

Information about trains with extra reservation fees in France:

The night trains (good and cheap for long distances):

Helpful but not the official way, only some experiences of Rail Pass travellers which tried to solve the TGV problem - as the French railway SNCF even doesn't offer online booking for Rail Pass travellers.

Thank you Peter,
I checked SNCF special offers and still, for me it's better to buy interrail :)
If I buy the ticket this week, even today or tomorrow, and i would like to start my journey in one month, is it possible that i'll have it on time?

Hej,

if your order from railcc, free standard shipping comes within 7 business days. So enough time if you want to leave in about one month. :)

the envelope was damaged so i wanted to make sure that nothing is missing.
i got: two tickets and two maps and something i would call confirmation of payment.
is that all or was there something else?

just in case, what should we do if we make a mistake while writing a date on our ticket? do we loose one day?

Technically, yes.

You could try to correct it but 1) at your own risk and 2) in an unconspicious manner. A conductor can consider it as fraud if you correct travel days on your pass! :!:
