Hi ! Thanks you in advance for your help and sorry for my English ^^

Last years I travelled from Bucharest to Beograd and i didn't take a sleep/couchette wagons but i staid only in seat wagons ... It's possible again in the train EN472 ?

So, I would like to know the exactly price between Bucarest (Gara de nord) to Budapest (Keleti) during the night.
We are 6 so i think the best is Couchette Wagons ?!
Somes website says: 16.4 € / PP and on elvira.hu it says: 39 € /PP

Please let me know because i swim alone ^^

Thank you !

Ps: No pass because we will take only one time the train (one way from Bucuresti to Budapest)

Hi.
The ticket via Elvira (MAV-Start), the national Hungarian railway company is (if booking early) a special price called Fortuna: EUR 39 in a 6 berth couchette.

16,40€ is the price you have to pay for the couchette in addition to a regular ticket (eg rail pass or regular standard fare ticket). The 39€ is a special offer ticket plus reservation for the couchette with a limited number of tickets available.
The regular price for Bucuresti - Budapest is ~77€...but I do not know if there are discounts for international travels..

Thank you so much for your answer !

In resume, it's about 39 € / PP for a 6 couchette from Bucuresti to Budapest if i buy online on Elviro.hu ?

ANd last question, the national ID cart is enought on border ? We don't need passport ? (We are all from Belgium)

Thanks a lot !

Yeah, it is 39€ per person (and not for the whole compartment). Remember that tickets for this price are limited.

I'm not totally sure if only an ID card is accepted...maybe it is better to ask directly at the Romanian embassy.
