Hello,

I have an Italian Passport, but I live in the United States.

I will be travelling to France, and want to travel around Europe and will then stay probably in France or Spain.

Can I but an InterRail pass?

I think I'll add just to others viewing this- residency is not an issue if you are a European citizen of a country participating in InterRail. You are a European citizen if you hold a valid passport of a European country.

Residency is only an issue if you are not a European citizen or you are 'European' but your country does not participate in InterRail. If you are not a European citizen (i.e. you don't have a European passport) then you must have evidence of six months of residency in a European country, normally a evidence of a visa is enough.
