hey railcc. please excuse my ignorance but... i use db website and also the intertail website but both dont come up with athens. i've tried typing that and athenai and atheni... nothing relating to athens comes up. always some suggestions for other places. do you have a suggestion? thanks!

Domestic routes within Greece are not included in the database the standard route planners (DB, ÖBB,...) are using. Only trains until the border station (eg Thessaloniki) used to be in that database.
If you want to search for connections within Greece, you have to use the schedule planner by OSE the greek national railway compay :arr: [u]https://rail.cc/en/ose-train-schedules/f5105[/u]
However, currently there are all international train connections to/from Greece withdrawn due to the economic situation. So if you want to go to Greece during your trip, you have to either use one of the ferries or cross the border by bus, taxi,...
