Hi,

I'm planning the following itinery on a 10 in 22 day pass, mostly by myself. Any suggestions gratefully received!

3 days Cologne (my old home!)
2 days Bern
2 days Salzburg
4 days Vienna (where my bf will meet me)
2 days Cesky Krumlov
1 day Prague (been here before, a quick reminisce and to make my connection to Dresden easier!)
2 days Dresden
3 days Berlin

Was originally going to do the 22 days continuous but then I wanted to fit lots more places in! So decided to take 10 in 22 and spend more time in some places. Does it sound reasonable?
Thanks for any help :)

reasonable and do-able enough. Check age-it might be moneysaving to still buy the 5/10 and pay separate for the last legs online, maybe even bus it (CK-Prahy). Note that trains to CK bring you to an outoftown station-a BUS, direct from Ceske Budejovice (where you change into the railbustrain anyway)-bus.st across from trains, is much quikcer, very cheap and sets you down at the village-square.

Thanks! I didn't know about the bus to Cesky Krumlov, sounds like a good move. I forgot to mention that I will probably use the extra day of the 10 in 22 to travel home within the UK when I return from Berlin (as my current country of residence is Norway) so I think that's my best option - had considered the 5/10 thing as well. Thanks again!

Nice trip and you wont need any extra reservations (except you want to go use a night train on some part). :)
