Hello
My girlfriend and I are planning to go interrailing in July. It will be our first time interrailing so we're looking for some useful tips and advice.
The countries we're planning to visit are:
Czech Republic (Prague) - Austria (Vienna) - Croatia (any suggestions?) - Bosnia (want to go to Kravica waterfalls) - Greece (Athens possibly)
We will be getting the 5days within 10days pass and will be spending about 3 to 4 days in each country.
We won't be using our pass until after our Prague visit as we're planning to get a flight from the UK to Prague. (and the same for Greece back to the UK).
We're looking for some information on transportation and best locations to visit. Is there an overnight train that runs from somewhere in Bosnia to Greece?
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Benny,
Hetman

but if you want to spend 3-4 days in each country you will need more than one 5/10days ticket because your trip take at least 15 days (3x5) :|

We'll only start using our tickets after Prague.
So I think this is how it would work..
Prague = flights from UK to Prague so will only start using tickets after the Prague visit.
Vienna = 3 day
Croatia = 3 days
Bosnia = 3 days
Greece = flights from Greece back to the UK
Correct me if I'm wrong

Hi.
Next problem... forget about train travel to Greece this summer:

Maybe think about Istanbul ... or more in the direction of Slovenia?!

Hi Peter,
Thanks for this information :)
So there are no international routes going into Greece? Is there a different method of transport we could use (with our passes) to get from Bosnia to Greece as we're keen on making a visit to Athens.
Thanks again,
Benny

Hi Benny.
No. Currently no international connections due to the economical problems of the country.
We keep the threads up to date.
There are of course bus connections - but you will have to pay extra as it is not included in InterRail.
I don't have information about it, but search the forum (especially the country topics). There is information about bus routes an further links.
Peter :)
