Hi All

This is my 1st visit on the forum .

We would like to take the train from Amsterdam CS to Budapest . We are 4 (including 2 kids , age 9).
I tried to get an iternarary via the point-to-point tickets but the website failed to show me any relevant info.

could anyone point me out some aids here, pertaining;
1) which train do we take from Amsterdam

2) rates & what kind of coupe is advised.

3) travel distance and if any connectivity is needed etc.

4) should it be a night train or day train

Hope to get some pointers here , considering it would be our first train travel via mainland europe :P

Thanks in advance :)

0) also you can look for some trains on website of some railcompanies like die bahn:
[ux]https://rail.shop/bahn[/ux]

as fast as possible (and comfortable I think) is to take:
a) train from Amsterdam Centraal at 08:04 which goes to Frankfurt Airport, then
b) train to Wien Westbhf 11 minutes after arrive the train a). it goes from the same platform so don´t worry - you will have enough time to change train (even with children)
c) train to Budapest from the same rail station in Wiena. you arrive to Budapest at 23

i´m sure not about the supplements for the trains but it shouldn´t be more than 20 euro per person per one way i think

please, look for more information in the forum . it is easier than rail travel from Amsterdam to Budapest :)
