I am planning on interrailing in june/july this year and want to visit italy, slovenia and croatia. It is cheaper to buy 3 individual country passes with 4/6 days travel in each country. However i was wondering how much and how difficult it would be to by separate trains to get me from each country to the next, as this wont be covered by each individual country interail pass. Any ideas what my best option would be?

Hi!

Each OC pass covers its country until the border station or border tariff point - from where the next OC pass is valid. So you can use international trains just the same as with a Global pass. The only problem is when you want to use the 1900-rule for night trains on international night trains with two different OC passes - this is not possible.
