For the first train use https://www.brb.de/en/services/lost-property-office and the Chiemgau-Inntal and Oberland section quote train number 79049 of 11. Mai

For the second train use https://infrastruktur.oebb.at/en/contact/lost-and-found and quote IC 461 of the 12. Mai because it started after midnight.

I fear that if it was found it would have been stolen but there's even more chance of it being gathered up with general rubbish and thrown away.

javítok: Érdemes többször érdeklődni, mert előfordulhat, hogy hetekkel később adják le.

No , for lost propertys in Austria is the nationale operator ÖBB responsible , look https://fundamt.novafind.eu/home/at/oebb/app?cultureName=en , this is the officiale founding tool , there you enter you object , date , place etc. , then the ÖBB stuff is looking if they have your device . (The IC was an DB Stadler Kiss , right ? ÖBB is also responsible when the train end in Austria as in this case )
