Hello,

I'm currently in Sweden, and I would like to ask, whether it is possible to buy an Interrail ticket in Sweden, although my country of residence is actually Germany. Can I go to an SJ (Swedish rail company) ticket counter and buy the pass and still travel in Sweden?

I tried to buy it in the onlineshop (railcc), but apparently it is not possible to have different countries for residence and shipping adress...

Thanks in advance for your answers!

Jens

Hi Jens.

You can buy your InterRail pass online via [ux]https://rail.shop/interrail[/ux]

Simply do it this way:

1) Visit [ux]https://rail.shop/interrail[/ux]
2) Select in the top as your country SWEDEN.
3) Select the ticket you want and put it into your shopping cart.
4) Proceed to the check-out.
5) Enter your personal details (name, date of birth and so on). Then the system asks for your passport number.
Fill in either your passport number or your ID-card number (depends with which you will travel). And on the right side of this field you will find a box to select your country of residence. Select GERMANY.
6) Make the payment.

The result: your GERMAN InterRail Pass will be delivered to a SWEDISH postal address. :)

Have a sunny trip, Peter :)

Great. Thank you very much, now it was possible to do it. It wasn't clear that I had to select SWEDEN in the beginning so I couldn't ship it there.

I know - it isn't easy to find out ... :)
But the next days we will switch to a new website, there is an explanation then. I suppose you are not the only one having this kind of question.
Have fun, Peter :)
