for those who want to see more of CZ-or are looking for cheaper alternatives, the CD=-national CZ trains, offer a lot of special and quite cheap tickets
1.a dayticket-CD net, cost 550 CzK, valid from midnight till midnight
2. on weekends this 550 CzK is named SONE and valid for 2 persons (plus children), and also valid till the 1st actual real station in the surrounding countries (and not just till border point), except for the EC-trains
3.anyone can buy a 7day network ticket, name is SITOVA TYDENNY, cost is 1250CzK for 2nd cl. Valid as CDnet-but for 7 consecutive days. This is just a normal ticket-no fotocard etc needed. For the superfast SC-trains you must pay for the REServ+supplmt-200 CzK per ride-but these are easy to avoid
4.there are also daily tickets for 1 region-RegioNET- for 150-225 CzK (price varies with size of network).
In older guidebooks you may read about discount for students with ISIC-this is NO MORE-withdrawn since dec. 2010
various international traintrips and also national can be booked cheaply via [ux]https://rail.shop/cd[/ux] and homeprinted.

Unfortunately the ticket for a whole week isn't available anymore. Now you can only buy the day-ticket (550 Kc).

ywes, ano, you are right-withdrawn from sale since 11/12/11-when they revised the prices. The dayticket is now 560 or 580, I think.
There are so many special fares-many cheaper as IR in 1 country or area and I try to keep up-also for some other magazine and site, but this is impossible to post on each and every space. Dziekuje.

I will add the next days at least the German special-fare/regional tickets like Schoenes Wochenende, etc.
As like nltrainer said: there are so inexpensive solutions by these special fares - and you will hardly know them as traveller in a foreign country. If you want, you can add these special prices here: https://rail.cc/en/train-ticket
And it will generate it as special-national-tickets on the website. Thanks. :)
