After some planning we have come up with a final route.
We have purchased a continuous 15 day ticket. Im just looking for some help with the best connections to take from place to place.
We would prefer to take night trains and sleep in couchettes on long journeys, and perhaps leave early morning for journeys around 5 hours or so.

We will fly to Brussels on 18th June.. if possible we would like to travel on the same night to Prague. (although i believe we cant travel before midnight?)
From Krakow we would like to visit Auschwitz. What is the best way to do this and also is the transport to there any extra cost?

From Krakow to Venice we would like to stop off in Verona for a few hours.

We are unsure about Pisa..whether it is worth a nights stay or not? can anyone suggest any better stops between Venice and Paris?we can afford a night or two even.

Finally, in Paris can you use a ticket in the carnet to get to Disneyland or how does it work?

All advice is extremely appreciated :)
Thank You. :D

Hi!

Bruxelles - Praha is already explained in another topic I think?

Praha - Krakow: There is a night train :arr: https://rail.cc/en/prague-krakow-night-train/f4027 that stops in Oswiecim (for Auschwitz) early in the morning. Or go during the day, use the schedule planner (attention, on 12th June is a minor change in schedules and not all new schedules are implemented in the online planner yet, so enter a date before 12th June) :arr: https://rail.cc/en/search-interrail-route

Krakow - Auschwitz: Train station is Oswiecim, use the schedule planner for details

Krakow - Venezia: No direct trains, best way is to go via Vienna; if you dont mind travelling overnight, you could use the night train Krakow - Vienna, spend the day in Vienna and then continue with night train to Venezia; if you want to go directly, you have to go one leg (to or from Vienna) overnight, the other during the day. Details of the night trains are in the Austria and Poland sections of the board

Verona is after Venezia, I'd stop there on your way to Pisa. In PIsa itself a few hours a enough, but it might be better to stop there overnight as the trip to Paris is rather long again.

You could also go to Firenze, which is really nice as well; from there you have a direct night train to Paris.

Other options would be to either go via the Cote d'Azur (Nice) or the Swiss Alps... :)

In Paris, the standard carnet metro ticket is only valid for the city centre (zone 1-2 usually); for Disneyland you need zone 6 I think - better buy single trips seperately for this trip
