I believe there are no connections (unless you get a couple of taxis...) to Albania, but what about other places?

Prices? Timetables? anything? any mode considered!

Merci!

The line goes from Bar through Podgorica to Belgrade, via Nis. To get into Albania you need to take a bus to the border, a taxi accross the border and then another bus the other side.

As SiDUDe mentioned, the only international rail connection is from/to Beograd.

The bus network is of rather good quality, most towns are connected, prices are reasonable. However, there are many different small operators, so the best is to ask locally at the bus station in Podgorica.

You can get buses via Kotor and Herceg Novi to Dubrovnik for example; also have a look here :arr: https://rail.cc/en/dubrovnik-montenegro-train-bus/f933

Hm, so one can get to Pristina from Podgorica and vice versa?

yes of course- but not in just 1 vehicle. Travel in these areas is slow, uncomfy, and often full of unexpected surprises, like buses not turning up, no posted times, no central busstations or whatever is possible in that respect. THAT is the adventure you were seeking! Not even clear www-preplanning possible!
