So, finally the time is near, I depart on May 12th for my trip, purchased my 22 day pass from this site and i'm very excited !
When I get to the first station to purchase my tickets (prague) Do I need to have local currency ready to pay the supplements / sleepers for the journey down to Montenegro (Night train Prague to Budapest, day train Budapest to Belgrade, then another night train from Belgrade to Bar!!) or will they accept credit card ?
Also, will they give me options on sleeping accomodation or do I need to tell them exactly what I want ?
Thanks in advance, keep up the good work on this site :)

Hi.
You will need either local currency or credit card is fine as well! :)
If the night trains are listed here at the forum, write down on a paper what exactly you want. It is much easier if you talk to someone who might not be perfect in English language.
Also have a paper with you with all the reservation fees written on it for your night trains - just to compare if everything is correct. Of course the prices might be different depending on exchange rates.

Thanks for the speedy reply as usual Peter, one more (stupid probably) question !....
My interrail ticket runs out on Friday June 3rd, does this mean I have to be at my final destination by Midnight on the 3rd, or could I take a night train that gets me there on the morning of the 4th... trying to save absurd hostel costs in Amsterdam.. :D

You have to be at home at 23:59h on the 3rd. It is not possible to extend your Rail Pass for one more day. ;)
That's right. Hostels are extremely expensive in Amsterdam and often not worth.
Where do you want to end up?

I was Flying back from Amsterdam but I managed to book a flight back from Prague to the UK for cheaper than 2 nights in an Amsterdam hostel, crazy prices over there !

or simply pay for a normal ticket from last stop before 0.00 till final destination. For the pases with 'x days in y'' the difference between 5 and 10 is often quite small-decide for yourself what is best for money.
