Hi!

I was looking for a train from Vevey to Venice, and it seems like the only good connections are those going with EC (Eurocity)

For example:
Vevey Su, 22.05.11 dep 08:22 S 1 S-Bahn Direction: Villeneuve(CH) Number of bicycles conveyed limited
Montreux Su, 22.05.11 arr 08:31 3

Transfer time 8 min.

Montreux Su, 22.05.11 dep 08:39 3 EC 37 Eurocity Subject to compulsory reservation, Bicycles conveyed - subject to reservation, Global price, Bordrestaurant

Venezia Santa Lucia Su, 22.05.11 arr 14:40

Does it cost anything for InterRail pass holders to travel with these trains? If so, how much?

Hi!

The international EC trains Switzerland - Italy have compulsory reservation for international and domestic travel in Italy, reservations cost 10€. Within Switzerland you dont need a reservation. Anyway, I would recommend this direct train as you then only need to get one reservation. If you change in Milano, you would need another reservation for the fast trains to Venezia.
If you want to make the trip without a reservation, you will need considerably more time.
