Hey guys,
my friends and i are planing our 22-days-long interrail trip, and we were wondering would it be possible to find a backpack that would be big enough to pack all our stuff in it, abut also small enough to bring it with us in the plane as hand luggage...and if you know of any backpack that fits the criteria please tell me which one.
Thank you :) )

Hi.
It depends on the airline you are using.
The standard size is 55 cm x 40 cm x 20 cm.
The maximum weight is between 7 and 10kg.
Some companies check it at the check-in, most don't do it.
I recommend not to carry too big backpack with you on your trip, but it is hard to find a good one fitting in the recommended sizes.
Small suitcases are the better option in this case.
To find a good backpack, check the websites of some outdoor stores. Usually the measurements are given in the descriptions of the products.
Search for backpack around 50 litres or less to meet the criteria above.

Hello I have a question though I m not sure I posted it on the right topic. We re thinking of travelling via easyjet. after a 12day interrail trip with 30-45 bags, how much staff fits in that and will we have to pay for that on easyjet? :|
somewhere is says something about 20 kg?is the first 20 kg for free or we pay for that too?
thank you for your great effort on this site..
