This is our route:
Berlin: 4 days
Prague: 4 days
Bratislava: 2 days
Budapest: 3 days
Belgrade: 2 days
Montenegro: 4 days
Croatia: 5 days
Zagreb: 2 days
Although we may not go to Bratislava...
Should we buy a pass or will it be cheaper to get individual tickets?
Thanks

Hi!
How do you get to Berlin/how do you get back from Zagreb?

Flying from from/to London (where we live).
Our flights are about £130 altogether

You might think about a 5in10 for the first part of the trip - Berlin to Montenegro, but then you would have to cut one day to fit the 10 day period of validity of the pass. I am not sure about a 10in22 since you would not use all travel days.

Thanks!
Getting a 5 in 10 sounds good as we're probably not going to Bratislava...
Would the other train tickets be reasonably cheap? I've read that train tickets in Eastern Europe are quite cheap

OK...
What do you do with the two spare days you do have now?
You could do:
Berlin 4 days
Praha 4 days (go there from Berlin in the morning of the first day)
Budapest 3 days
Belgrad 2 days
Montenegro 4 days
10 day validity of the InterRail pass ends when you come to Montenegro, but you've only used 4 travel days. What I would suggest: Either make a day trip to Wien from Budapest with the 5th travel day or travel Praha - Wien - Budapest making a one day stop at Wien.
Train travel in Eastern Europe is relatively cheap, a InterRail pass pays of if you combine East and Central/Western Europe or if you travel longer distances within the East.

So it would be
Berlin 4 days
Prague 3 days
Vienna 1 day
Budapest 3 days
Belgrade 2 days
and then leaving us approx 11 days for Montenegro, Croatia etc.. (our flight Zagreb-London is on 13th Aug, and we fly out to Berlin on 20th Jul)
Is there a website that has train fares for Montenegro/Croatia because I've tried to find one and can't!
Thanks so much for your help Flo!

Split - Zagreb is about ~25€, train travel within Montenegro wont be expensive. You will need to get a bus to get from Montenegro to Croatia, I dont really know how much this will be but again not very expensive.

Bgrad-MOntenegro (bar-Cerna Gora) cost a little less even-but oNY when boughht ni Bgrad
There are hardly any through buses MNegro-Hravtska (only to Dubrovnik) buses are not that cheap there-they cost more as trains (per km). All in all-as you have to do it by bus anyway (many, many more buses Split-Zagreb too, nearly ev 30 mins daytime). Mayeb you even have time for that boat along the coast Dubrovnik-Split-or even further on (jadrolinija).
Also- i do not really see how you can fit all those trips in part 1 in 10 days.
Most sectors-if bought locally or booked online before-smartly and with some luck-cost about 29 or 39€sector. do the math yourself.

Do the math yourself...leave Berlin on day 1 of IR pass validity (after staying 4 days there, of course), then do the rest...
