Hello everyone,

Since you were talking about what trains require compulsory reservation or supplements, I was wondering whether the trains marked with ter fall into any of those categories. I was browsing on the SNCF website and found trains with such markings. As I'm new to Interrail, I would have no clue about that. Thanks for help!

Hi!

TER trains do not require a reservation. :)

In France you need reservations for TGV, TEOZ, LUNEA trains.

Thanks Flo! That's good news :)

One more question though: you didn't mention Intercités trains either. Do those also not require reservations? I hope so :)

Thanks!
