Hi

I'm trying to make a reservation on [ux]https://rail.shop/bahn[/ux] for the Eurocity-train between München and Verona but can't find a say to make a reservation together with the Interrail pass, like with the City Night Line-train. Help, please? :)

Hi Maxi!

You dont need a reservation for those Eurocity trains. You can make a reservation if you want too...but not online via [ux]https://rail.shop/bahn[/ux] instead you have to go to a train station.

Hi

Thank you for your help. So it's just to enter the train and show the Interrail pass when the conductor is walking around and checking the tickets?

Is this still valid? Or should you make a reservation now? And how do you do that?

No, you now officially need a supplement to use the EC trains from Munich to Italy via Innsbruck, but only when travelling to Italy (not between or within DE and AT).
You can get the supplement (7€ in 2nd class) at a ticket desk, it should be also possible on board the train but I am not 100% sure about that.
