I would like to travel by train from Sofia to Bucharest but I can not book tickets. When I google it i find that it says that there is a train to connect them but it doesn't seem to have scheduled and book tickets. Did anyone manage to take this connection?

There are no direct trains, the best option is a journey with a change of trains at Ruse. The official railway websites are:

not all tickets are available online

There will be direct train in the summer. You can buy ticket online from the CFR.

The ticket cost around 150 Lei ( 30 €) and is bookable 3 months in advance .
