I will travel to Italy first time so please answer my questions:
1) I'm a resident of Russian Federation, so I have to buy Eurail Pass
2)If I understand you correctly, I can buy it through your web-site
3) And reservation for night trains I can do after buying the Pass only, OR I can make reservation during pass-buying procedure?
4) When I've already buy the Pass, have it at my hand and ready to begin my travel in Italy, I have to go to railway station to activate the Pass.
5) After that I go to my train and counter checks my Pass and maybe my Passport before I seat at the train
6) Some people say that Italian trains are usual come not at exactly time, but later than they must. So if I have 20 minutes between trains, I can be too late in order to change it?
If I understand something not correctly, please explain it to me.

Thank you in advance

Hi!

1) No, as a resident of Russia, you have to use InterRail.
2) Yes, have a look at [ux]https://rail.shop/interrail[/ux] , thank you. :)
3) You can make reservations either directly at railway stations (preferably take your InterRail pass with you) or for certain trains online as well. For details have a look at this link: https://rail.cc/en/interrail-train-reservation
4) You dont have to activate your pass. When purchasing the pass, you have to choose the first date of validity. This is fixed then and you can start travelling at 0000 of this first day of validity.
5) In most cases there are no ticket controls at the train stations. Usually you board the train and ticket and passport are checked on the train.
6) I have been to Italy in February and most trains were on time. It can happen it all European countries that a train is delayed...I have travelled a lot through Europe by train and it was very rare that I missed a train because of delays.
