Traveling May first. Only direct train to Birmingham is a TRN Austre. Can a Bitish Rail Pass be used on theses trains. Other trains that day need one or two changes to get to Birmingham. During the week this is not a problem.

There are engineering works on that line that weekend, you might be better to go from London Marylebone to Birmingham Snow Hill on Chiltern Railways, but they might be affected by engineering works too. There will be replacement bus services available that your Interrail ticket will be valid on.
