Hi
I want to travel from Istanbul to Bucharest, and have found different information about the route. I tried to find a train on the booking search engine but found only trains taking over 30 hours.
Turkish sites talk about different trains which take about 18-20 hours, one was called Bosfor. Do these run still?
How much would it cost with the supplement fees, and how do they run?
I'm traveling June the 18th.

1.at that time-and maybe now still-there were WORKS and heavy delays-as there were floodings=rails destroyyed north of IST in TR. This also meant part of the route was by bus.
2.you cannot trust those trip/routeplanners in those countries for when such things happen-they only show the ideal situation
3.right now-and it is already more as 6 weeks later-the situation for june is still unclear. Maybe the works are done-maybe not-most likely partly. You only know what it will be when you travel. and even then there is a 95% chance it will be different as told before.
(rail enthusiast fora-mainly the germans or swiss-are often the best in knowledge about it)
