Hi,
I am part of a group of 4 girls who have booked flights into Prague and out from Paris throughout July. We were thinking of buying the 10 days in 22 Interrail Global Ticket.
I have a few questions regarding our planned trip:
1) Firstly, is it feasable to travel that far? We had planned to get the ferry from Patras to BarĂ, and potentially do some island hopping whilst in Greece, yet don't want to try and travel too far preventing us from fully experiencing the countries.
2) Would it be worth stopping for a night or two anywhere along the Croatia-Greece route (I was thinking about Montenegro?) or would the experiences there be similar to that of Croatia and Greece?
3) Having said that, I have heard that Croatia and Greece are similar to one another. Would you recommend going to one and not the other, and if so which one? Or if both are must-sees, where in each country is essential to visit (We're looking for a mixture of relaxed, cultural places, probably with beaches and good youthful bars whilst we're in this area of the world)
Thanks and hope you all can help :)

Hi!
1) I would not recommend to go to Greece if you want to end your trip in Paris. There are no train connections to/from Greece at the moment and domstic travel is as well affected by the current political/economical situation in Greece. :arr: https://rail.cc/en/new-trains-from-thessaloniki-to-skopje-belgrade-and-sofia/f5508 I'd say it is better to head for Montenegro/Croatia... ;)
2) Like I said above, I'd recommend to go to Montenegro instead of Greece. A possible route from Praha could be: Budapest - Beograd - Montenegro. The route from Beograd to Montenegro is very scenic so I'd recommend to use a day train there. You can go all the way to the Adriatic by train and spend a few days there at the beach. However, you will then have to use a bus to head north to Split/Croatia.

Its untrue that you cant travel in greece due to the economical crisis,of cource you can,you can take the ship for free(by paying 5e) from venice or ancona to patras .And then you can take the train (http://tickets.trainose.gr/dromologia/#) to athens and other destinations by paying a fare about 7e.

I did not say you could not travel in Greece at all! International train connections are in fact cut as well as domestic services have been reduced. ;)
