Hi, I'm new to this site! So I apoligse for the long and wordy post but any help at all would be very much appreciated !!
Over June and July me and my brother are planning to interrail, we're planning on buying a month ticket and a 15 day ticket to kick in as soon as the month finishes. We plan on starting in Amsterdam, getting the train to Cologne, then to Frankfurt, Munich, Dresden, and then Berlin. My first question is 'do you think this is a reasonable route to take of Germany or is too ambitious? We think we may well have to cut out Munich, but I'm not sure!! Is it worth a visit or would we be too stuck for time???
From Berlin we intend to head to Warsaw, stay overnight then head on to Krakow. From here we want to go to Prague, does anyone know if this is a viable route/good plan? I don't know whether it would be wiser to cut out Warsaw and take a different route around Germany so that we can catch a direct train to Krakow? Can anyone please offer any sage words of advice on this!!
From Prague we want to go straight to Vienna and then onto Italy (is this a possible train journey?!). In Italy do you think it would be possible to head towards the more southern regions (like Rome) But I’m extremely unsure of this as I’m scared we will be stuck for time, if so does anyone have any recommendations of cheaper places in Northern Italy we could go without venturing too far south?
From Italy we are hoping to train hop through France to Paris, I was wondering if anyone would know the best route for this where we would not have to pay extra charges?!
Finally (I promise!) do you think that this a reasonable route to take given the time limit- a month and 15 days? And if not could anyone suggest which places could be cut from the route?
Pheww sorry for the ultra long post! Any help at all would be so much appreciated! Thanks so much for even reading haha! :)

Hi!
Your route can be easily done within your time frame. All the legs you have planned have good connections so no point in changing that.
How do you find out about train schedules? :arr: https://rail.cc/en/search-interrail-route Also have a look at the different country boards of the forum where you will already find some connections you need (like Vienna - Italy for example).
It is absolutely no problem to go to Roma or even more south in Italy, trains are frequent and in most cases very reliable. Just pay attention that you will have to make reservations for most long distance trains.
Italy to Paris is also described in the Italy section of the forum . There are direct trains from Roma/Firenze/Venezia/Milano to Paris or you can go along the coast to Genova then Nice/Cote d'Azur first before heading for Paris. In any case you wont come by paying some extra charges except you are willing to travel considerably longer. ;)
I think you might even be able to fit in some extra places along the route...but you will see yourself when you are travelling - with the InterRail ticket you can change your route quite spontaneously! ;)
If you need any other help, more details etc...just tell us.
