Hi!
Just a quick summary of regular full fare prices:
Bologna - München: 6bed couchette 121,60€ if booked in advance ticket are ~59€, depending on booking date
München - Füssen - München: 21€
München - Salzburg: 29-33€ in fast trains
Salzburg - Wien: 23,80€
Wien - Bratislava: 16,40€
Wien - Sofia: 108,40€
Sofia - Istanul: 41,20€
Istanbul - Bukarest: 62,20€
Bukarest - Brasov: 20,40€
Brasov - Budapest: 63,20€
Budapest - Krakow: 64€
Total is more than 500€ even now. And except for the first night train you would still have to pay supplements for overnight trains. The reservations for most night trains are listed in the country section of the forum . :)

No problem. On some routes you might find some kind of discount but as I've only listed prices as far as Krakow and that already exceeds 500€ I think the InterRail pass is a good solution for your trip.

Hi!
You can select whatever starting date you like. The actual number of days of validity are determined by the month in which the validity starts. Two examples:
24 Feb - 23 Mar: 28 days
2 Jul - 1 Aug: 31 days

Hi!
Where do I find the rates for different distances? Have seen different lists, but havent found an easy way to get the prices...
Im going this route:
Budapest-Bratislava
Bratislava-Vienna
Vienna- Pula or Split
Pula/Split-Venise (maybe by boat)
Think maybe it would be cheaper to buy single tickets...

Hi!
As your route only includes three trips (maybe a forth when you go to Venezia by train, although connections are rahter bad on that part) you will be probably cheaper off with single tickets.
Regular prices up to Pula/Split add up to ~140€, so it depends on whether you want to go to Venezia by boat or train and whether you find some cheaper advance offers.
