The short answer is - with great difficulty.

It's a complicated and slow journey and RENFE won't give proper info. There are two trains per day form the border town of Badajoz into Portugal, but they only go to Entroncamento and you must change trains there for Lisbon. From Seville cannot get to Badajoz in time for the first train. You need to change trains at Madrid or Merida and can catch the evening train at 18:41 Portuguese time (19:41 Spanish), the connection reaches Lisbon around 23:00 - that's a 12 hour journey in total and there are direct buses that will do it in less than 7 hours.

There are also direct buses to Faro (www.alsa.es) and from there direct trains to Lisbon (both some 3 to 4 hours)
