Hello,

I'm from Germany and plan to do some InterRail in early summer 2011 (april, may, june).
If possible, I want to combine 30 days of InterRail and two weeks of windsurfing.
Because I'm not so experienced with traveling, I like to present you my very first plan:

Amsterdam - London and/or Paris - Bretagne (Carnac for example) - Bordeaux - Valencia and/or Barcelona - Marseille - Milano - Venezia - Roma - Sicilia.

Somewhere around here the InterRail ticket ends.
Maybe I'll do the windsurfing at Sicilia, but because I'm very interested in Greece it would be possible to continue to:

Athen - Naxos/Paros/Ios
Here I would spend around two weeks to surf (and maybe to party a little bit). At last I'll take the airplane back to Germany.

What's your opinion towards my concept?
Is my time frame realistic, are all the choosen destinations recommendable, are there better destinations close to the route?

Regards,
and sorry for my bad english ;)

Hi.
Definitely possible your trip.

But France and Spain are not InterRailers best friend. ;)
You have to pay supplements for nearly every train in Spain - and in France for the high speed train TGV which has limited seats for rail pass travelers.

Some hints...

On your way France-Spain-France cross at least one time the Pyrenees and do not travel along the sea - use the Petit Train Jaune:

Greece might be a bit difficult by train this summer due to their economical problems:
