My wife and I will join a river cruise in June. We want to take trains from Frankfurt to Baden Baden and eventually to Basel where the cruise begins. After 2 weeks, we will end in Antwerp, take train to Brussels (and maybe Bruge) and then from Brussels to Berlin. After 4 days in Berlin we will depart for Frankfurt. This all will be from June 7 to July 3. What railpass should we buy and how do we do that? Danke/merci beaucoup.

Hi.
I suppose your are from an European country, then you will have to buy an INTERRAIL pass. The problem in your case is that the Global InterRail passes which are valid for 22 days or 1 month have as well a lot of travel days. But you only need 3 travel days if I calculated right.
Maybe it is better for you to buy single train tickets - especially as your travel dates are fix and you don't need to be flexible.
There are always special offers available by the German national railway. Order early, do it online - you can print your tickets - very easy.
Frankfurt-Baden Baden: ~29 EUR
Frankfurt-Basel: ~39 EUR
Antwerp-Brussels by the Netherlands railway
Brussels-Berlin: German railway
Book for the German railway via [ux]https://rail.shop/bahn[/ux]

If you want to travel by rail passes, I recommend you the:
- InterRail One Country Pass GERMANY - 3 travel days in 1 month
- InterRail One Country Pass BENELUX - 3 travel days in 1 month

I don't remember how much costs the BW ticket cause it's valid till Basel so it's another option.. isn't it?

Yes... the tickets for local transport might be an option. :)
In this case the Schönes Wochenende Ticket or the Quer durch's Land Ticket. They will be mentioned in the new website then.
More information at [ux]https://rail.shop/bahn[/ux] .
The Baden-Würtemberg-Ticket is valid until BASEL. You are right. But then an other ticket is needed for Frankfurt to the border of the region of Baden-Würtemberg (Mannheim?!), called the Hessen-Ticket.

I am sorry I forgot to say that we are from the United States. I suppose we should buy the tickets here in the States before we leave for Europe, right?

Oh okay. Then have a look at the Eurail tickets. These special tickets (local transport in Germany) mentioned above are available for all (Europeans and non-Europeans). But if you want to travel an easier way, think about the:

EURAIL REGIONAL pass Germany - Benelux - 5 days within 2 months - SAVER.
It is EUR 191 (265 USD) per person.

Switzerland is not included, but you can travel until the station Basel Bad, this is already in Basel. From there use public transport - or ask in the train for an extra ticket to Basel SBB the main station. It shouldn't be more than EUR 5 per person.

The ticket is only available with 5 travel days (or more), so think about adding an other stop in between... :)

The ticket is available via [ux]https://rail.shop/interrail[/ux] - official tickets to the official prices. And at the same time you support our work.

Peter :)
