Hi.

Night trains:
- use the schedule planer, there you will find connections: https://rail.cc/en/search-interrail-route
- then check the country topics, where you will find details about times, type of cabins, supplements, etc: https://rail.cc/en/countries

Examples and information:

Berlin-Brussels: for example by night train via Amsterdam ( https://rail.cc/en/berlin-amsterdam-train/f2407 ), then continue to Brussels: https://rail.cc/en/amsterdam-brussels-train-thalys/f3991
Avoid the expensive THALYS trains in Benelux.

Belgium/Netherlands to the UK ... a cheap option is to use regional and IC trains to Rotterdam, then by ferry to the UK: https://rail.cc/en/ferry-netherlands-england/f1659

London-Paris:
https://rail.cc/en/london-paris-eurostar-train/f1805
https://rail.cc/en/ferry-london-paris-england-france/f1222

Paris-Barcelona: I recommend you to travel trough the Pyrenees using the Petit Train Jaune:
https://rail.cc/en/paris-pyrenees-barcelona-le-petit-tain-jaune/f4023
https://rail.cc/en/paris-barcelona-day-train/f5505
https://rail.cc/en/interrail-train-reservation/france/fr

Barcelona-Milan: there is one direct and very expensive night train. Better to have a stop in Nice in between, or for example by ferry to Rome, ...

Italy-Slovenia: https://rail.cc/en/venice-ljubljana-train/f3664

About Greece... take care, there will be problems this summer using trains. We keep these topics always up to date:

Hi.

It is definitely worth! And it is cheap. You won't find a cheaper way to travel Europe.
Some people think: fly by the cheap airlines might be better - but they forget that these airports are often fare away outside of the cities. In London you have to pay extra o get to the city. In Germany (Frankfurt-Hahn) is two hours away from Frankfurt - you have to pay extra. You won't reach every city by plane - what you can do easily by train. Train stations are always in the city centers. Just a short walk to hostels, etc.
The cheap special offers are limited, it is not ecological ... I could give you 1000 reasons... :)

Berlin-Brussels is free of supplements - if you use a night train on this route, you have to pay as well extra for your bed if you travel on a normal train ticket.
Ferry to the UK: the same - without IR you have to pay as well.
London-Paris: do it with the cheap ferry connection - using a normal train ticket on Eurostar is also expensive.
Paris-Barcelona: the same for the night train - you pay as well extra with a normal ticket. Use the route trough the Pyrenees. No other supplements to pay.
Barcelona-Milan: again the same: it doesn't matters if you travel by normal train ticket or InterRail - you have to pay extra for the night train. But you can travel for free with InterRail using the connections listed at the link.
In Italy travel for free with IC and regional trains.
Italy-Slovenia: free of supplements.

So you see: just read the topics!!! You can do everything for free without extra supplements. If you want to stay flexible and travel on normal train tickets, it will be definitely triple price than InterRail! Sometimes you might get special cheap offers, but this is only marketing of the railway companies - not the real prices. You have to book weeks in advance and you are fixed on times, dates and trains - absolutely not flexible anymore.

Peter :)
