Hello!

My best friend and I are traveling Europe this summer for three weeks. We're hoping to get as much outof it as possible. We're traveling from Denmark to:

-Amsterdam
-Paris
-French Coast
-Venezia
-Budapest
-Krakow
-Prague
-Berlin

I'm thinking to spend at least two days in each of the cities, but is this to ambitious? I'd like to think that we'll be able to travel as much as possible in nighttime.

And what is a reasonable budget for a trip like this?

Thank you!

Hhhmmmm, personally I would take maybe 4 weeks? Just from my experience I found that I underestimated the distances between the cities and how tiring it can be!! But then again it depends on the person. I found it hard to sleep on the night trains but some of the other people I was with had no problem.

Regarding the money I suppose it will depend on how much you want to do in each city, how many nights out you have etc. I spent about 1200 euro over 4 weeks, but I wasnt really being careful with my budget so you could probably do it cheaper!

So overall I would say its up to yourself really, it might be a good idea to factor in one or two buffer days if you get me- because sometimes the timetables won't fit with your plans eg. you might want to leave a certain city in the morning but there may not be a train going to your next spot til the evening.

Best of luck with the plans! :D

Hi!

Three weeks should be fine...the 10in22 should be a good solution. Have a look at the country topics where you will find most routes described...have a look at the night trains, for instance Kobenhavn - Amsterdam, Venezia - Budapest and Budapest - Krakow.

As Pip-squeak said, I would calculate with 1000-1200€, depending on how much you are willing to pay for accomodation, food etc...
