hello everyone, this is a possible route for me and 3 other people. In the title all the cities that i wanted didnĀ“t fit so here is the complete route xD :
15 days continuous Global Pass

Arriving plane in London, see the city and then start:
London-Manchester-Liverpool-Dublin-Belfast-Glasgow-Edinburgh-Paris-Amsterdam-Frankfurt-Munich-Venice-Milan-Rome
Out of Rome by plane too.

I've already searched a lot in this forum and in numerous sites. In general the info given was useful
Any advice given is wellcome ;D

14 cities in 15 days?!? Is that right? If so, it's not doable...

of course we won't be seeing all the important things in every city, and i forgot to mention that the days we spent in london and rome are not included in the pass, we arrive london by plane and leave romeyou by plane too (the tickets to or from the airports are at our own expenses). In your signature you say you know UK well in what concerns to IR, right, are you a resident there? do you mind answering some questions about that region?

1st round of questions xD:

1. I've seen timetables to ferries Holyhead-Dublin, and i think the most suitable would be 2:30 to 5:45 (considering staying in liverpool until 18:00 or so and then leave to holyhead), but i am concerned (for what i've seen in satellite maps) about arriving in the port at a dangerous time and a not to crowded area, plus the distance to dublin center is 4,5 km. Had anyone done this route or is resident there and know the area?
- Another hypothesis would be to arrive in Dun laoghaire and then leave to dublin because the station is very close to the ferry port there

2. If I arrive in holyhead let's say 22:00 may I still get a reservation to 2:30 to get the discount at stenaline and what's the chance that will be crowded between 15th and 20th June this summer?

1) You arrive at Dublin ferryport together with lots of other travellers, no need to be worried. There is also a shuttle bus operating to the central bus station in Dublin (Busaras) that leaves in front of the ferry terminal and is connected to the ferry timings.

2) I think you should be fine getting the ticket upon arrival. Arriving at 2200 should leave more than enough time to do so IMO.

As someone who lives in the UK, I've got absolutely no idea why you would want to go to Manchester...

I must admit i agree here unless there are specific things you wanted to see in manchester.

Im at Uni in liverpool and its a great city but i wouldnt say there is that much to just see here if you are almost just passing through

I recommend to forget about fast-food on your trip... eat it and 2 hours later you are hungry again and you spent a lot of money for nothing...
Better to have a small camping stove with you (most hostels also offer a kitchen free to use) and buy some noddles and tomatoes in a supermarket. At the end of you travels you will see that you saved a lot of money. Food and accommodation are the most expensive parts on your trip.
Peter :)
