Hej.

It is better to make the trip via Rom and then via Vienna because from Vienna goes a EC direct to Zagreb Glavni kolodvor , from Kopenhagen you can take the IC 399 at 23:57 to Hamburg and than you take the a ICE 93 to Vienna from there use NightJet 40233 until Bologna Centrale and from there a regional train to Roma , backward you make it the same way , from Vienna you take the EN 1153 or EC 159 (from 15:58 to

22:25 ) , to Zagreb , backward you take the same train (EN 1152 or EC 158 ) , then you can take the EN 490 from 19:35 to 08:45 , leave the train in Hamburg and then you can take IC 1196 direct to CPH , please note that you must have a reservation for Nighttrains and trains in Denmark .

One Interrail day is 00:00 to 23:59 except when using a direct night train, in that case the departure "day" continues until you get off that train -unless the departure day was the last valid day of the pass.
