Hi! I'm just wondering about something..
there are regional trains obvioulsy, wich are coverd by the interrail tickets, but there are also alot of local trains, right? For instance skånetrafiken in southern sweden. Are these also included in the interrail tickets? My guess are that these trains is often run by privat companies and may not be included?
thanks alot :)

Hi!
In some European countries there are more private operators than in others. Short summary:
- Sweden: InterRail valid on all private railways (including Skanetrafiken)
- Germany: InterRail valid on all private railways
- UK: InterRail valid on all private railways
- Italy: InterRail valid only on Trenitalia (state railway) network
- Switzerland: InterRail valid on all major railways, on smaller private railways usually 50% discount
If you are not sure whether you can use InterRail on a certain connection ask here. :)
Regarding local trains: Most local or suburban trains are included, however, ie SL, Stockholms Lanstrafik is not included.
