Hi there,
My friends and I are looking into inter-railing for 14 days in the summer. Last year we did Krakow-Berlin-Amsterdam in 10 days. Krakow was EPIC and we really want to experience more of Eastern Europe. We can get flights to Zadar but after that we're pretty open. We are interested in Ljubljana and Lake Bled in Slovenia and then Budapest in Hungary.
Any help with what order these places should be visited in or what is really worth seeing would be greatly appreciated (particularly in Croatia and the islands).
Cheers :D

Hi.
From Zadar think about a trip to Split/Dubrovnik or the other way up to Rijeka. There you could visit the island of Krk. Good if you have a tent with you.
Then think about Rijeka - Ljubljana - Lake Bled.
Zagreb - Lake Balaton - Budapest
It depends of course on the time you have - but Lake Bled and its area is perfect for some days of hiking, swimming, or for example rafting.
Peter :)
