hi there,

My boyfriend and I are planning a month long trip around europe as a celebration of finishing uni and I've tried to figure out which ticket I need to buy.....I don't quite understand the 10/20 days etc......all i can figure is that its a global pass....

The other thing is that we havn't got a route planned, I just thought you could buy an interail month long ticket and you could just go wherever you like and use it as many times as you like. Do you have to plan exactly where and how long you are staying? We were just going to start in the UK and just go with the flow and see where it takes us! We would probably book our 1st hostel, but after that just look at a map, check events and see what takes our fancy...

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

Tar

Hi L and T.
Have a look at this topic, I think it will answer all your questions: https://rail.cc/en/first-time-interrail
My personal experience is: not to plan too much, to stay flexible, but to have a rough route - and a list of cities/places you want to visit...
