Hi all, me and my friends (all students) are really considering Interrailing for the summer, but we don't know where to start and we want to visit as many European countries as we can. We're from Ireland but would we be able to like start in london if that would be simpler like getting into Europe etc. I'm almost positive you's get this all the time but please if you don't mind, help us just this once more :D Would really appreciate if like you could tell us everything and like how much including ticket we'll need??
Thanks!!!!!

Hi.
As you are from Ireland, I recommend you to fly to a city somewhere in Europe and start from there. The same for your way back home to Ireland.
You will save travel days on your InterRail ticket and a lot of money.
Starting from Ireland will cost you the train tickets in Ireland (as your country of residence is not included, you only get a discount), the ferry to the UK AND the expensive Eurostar train (or cheaper ferry) from the UK to France - or the Netherlands.
In general, I recommend you Eastern Europe. It is cheap and it is very nice and friendly. But you have to think your own about the countries you want to visit. Europe is soooo big. :)
Scandinavia is interesting as well...
Cities I recommend are: Amsterdam, Berlin, Krakow, Budapest, Prague, Istanbul, ........ of course there are much more. :)
Read this topic which might help you: https://rail.cc/en/first-interrail-tour/f3303
As soon as you know more about where to travel, I will help you with more details.
Peter :)
