Hello everbody,

Now we wanna go to lisboa. But it's not a easy journey I guess.

So I wanna share the my plan with you:

Sat. 29.04:
Train: Muc - Paris Est
TGV9576 (06:51-12:31)

Su. 30.04
Train: Paris Est
09:38 TGV 9713 to Barcelona Sants 16:34
20:00 AVE 3202 to Madrid Puerto De Atocha 23:12

Mo. 01.05
Madrid Atocha 08:50 to Badajoz IC190 13:24
Badajoz 14:09 via RE482 to Entroncamento 15:52
15:39 Entroncamento via IC512 to Lisbon Oriente 16:52

Thats our plan.
Any tips or alternatives? Connection is fine until madird. Madrid to Lisboa is really hard....

Greetings

You did well, Madrid-Lisbon direct trains were stopped 3 years ago and won't be running this year, maybe sometime next year by a different operator, maybe 2025, maybe they will accept Interrail....

The Badajoz route is the best option for reaching Lisbon (some would say the fast bus is a better idea....) . There is a typing error in your plan, IC512 leaves Entroncamento at 15:59. You should have reservations for it.

The only other international train link is Porto-Vigo in the north but that only works if you actually wanted to be in the north.

There are regular gap filling buses (no Interrail) if you visit the Algarve, you can reach Huelva or Sevilla from Faro. Or, for the adventurous, use the train all the way to the end of the line at Vila Real de San Antonio (VRSA) then the little ferry across the river to Ayamonte and then a shorter bus ride to Huelva.
