This may be a stupid question, but I have been looking online at different countries train ticket sites to find out prices/to start planning my trip, and I can't see where you would put that you had an InterRail ticket and therefore should get a reduced fare.
I know this probably naive, but I was kind of hoping there would be maybe a box to tick on each website. Instead there is just lots of other things listed that aren't entitled 'InterRail'.
I hope someone can offer some help to an InterRailing beginner!
Thanks x

Hi!
InterRail is your ticket for travelling in all 30 participating countries! :) You dont need an extra ticket, just board the trains as you like.
:!: However, for certain trains (mostly high speed and night trains) you need an extra reservation. You can find a list of trains where you need a reservation here: https://rail.cc/en/interrail-train-reservation
:!: InterRail isnt valid on certain private railways - but usually you will be travelling with the classic state railways so dont bother.
I hope all is clear now, if you have any other question just ask. And if you want to support our work here at the forum and website, please buy your ticket at [ux]https://rail.shop/interrail[/ux] :)
